Public Policy Analysis

This training started in 2010 from a week-long introduction to the basics of policy analysis and was expanded in the following years with a focus on analysis of regulatory impact and feasibility studies for public infrastructure projects. Qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis are applied to contemporary Central Asian topics and the content is modified in accordance with the needs of participants.

The training is delivered to governmental experts and analysts from strategic studies institutes from Central Asian republics. It is has a flexible modular structure, allowing to combine a general training for a mixed audience and specialized modules to the staff of partner institutions. The latter included National Institute of Strategic Studies (Kyrgyzstan), Centre for Strategic Studies under the president of RT (Tajiksitan), and Economic Research Institute (Kazakhstan).
