58 Students joined the Preparatory Summer School 2021

From 2 till 27 August 2021 the OSCE Academy is conducting its Preparatory Summer School for newly enrolled MA students. The participants were 58 students from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus.

In addition to newly accepted Master students to the Politics & Security and Economic Governance & Development Programmes, the School is also attended by interested young graduates in related disciplines. These were selected via a special call for applications that generated more than 300 applications. Overall the summer school will host 58 participants.

Since 2018 this Summer School provides students with an opportunity to improve their knowledge and acquire the necessary skills for further studies within the MA Programmes in Politics & Security and Economic Governance & Development.

In particular, this Summer School is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills on the Mathematics for Economists, the Theory of Probability and Statistics, Academic Writing and Honesty, and the Introduction to Research Methods in Social Sciences. The courses are organized and conducted by Academy faculty and specially invited guest lecturers.
