On 12 May 2014 the OSCE Academy in Bishkek launched the two-week training for the second cohort on regulatory impact analysis in the context of national development policies. The training is delivered to experts from governmental and non-governmental sector as well as analysts from strategic studies institutes from all Central Asian countries. It has a flexible modular structure, allowing a combination of theoretical and interactive components for a diverse audience.
Due to high demand this year the Academy is offering the training twice. The second group of participants includes representatives of NGOs and think tanks from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
“Our organization participates in the implementation of national ecological programs, contributes actively in environment improvement. For me this training on RIA is very useful, since I’ll learn a lot about project development and explore the principles of feasibility studies during this regional training programme,” Berkeli Ataev, Chairman of the Central Office of the Nature Conservation Society of Turkmenistan, says.
