On 14 September 2023 the OSCE Academy held a public lecture on the topic of the Regional Security Regime Emerging in Central Asia. Anna Jordanova, a Ph.D. Candidate at the Institute of International Studies at Charles University in Prague and a Research Fellow at the OSCE Academy presented the policy brief that elaborates on the problem of rising uncertainty across and within the Central Asian region and the reaction of the respective national regimes. During the presentation, Ms. Jordanova introduced the concept of the international regime as a form of cooperation and communication based on shared norms and practices, responding to member states’ common interests. She also focused on the OSCE’s presence in the region and gave recommendations.
