About the training
This 5-day course will provide participants with a comprehensive introduction into concepts, tools and methods in the field of peaceful conflict transformation. In the first part, we will explore key terms such as conflict, peace, and violence, and delve into methods of conflict analysis. Participants will learn to analyse conflicts through both abstract and real case studies. During the second part of the training a conflict situation will be implemented, dealing with proto-typical challenges in cross-border conflicts. This experience will give the possibility for the participants to test the gained competences in a realistic environment, get a deeper understanding of complex conflict dynamics and develop ideas for effective interventions aiming at sustainable peace.
