From 29 to 31 January 2024, 25 graduate students from Central Asia, Afghanistan and Mongolia participated in a training programme dedicated to organized crime and the often-overlooked role of women in criminal networks. The event was jointly organized by the OSCE Academy and OSCE Transnational Threats Department.

On 15 December 2023, Aizhamal Dzhanibekova, a student in the MA Programme in Politics and Security, participated in the Third Meeting of the Group of Friends of Youth and Security. Aizhamal delivered a presentation on "Education and Security: The Role of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek," where she discussed the educational initiatives, research activities, and professional trainings of the Academy.

On 13 December 2023 Global Campus of Human Rights and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights co-organized a joint Webinar "Human Rights Education in Higher Education: Pathways for Youth Empowerment." MAHRS student Javad Mohammadi has participated in the webinar, joining other 7 students representing each regional Master's Programme.

On 11 December 2023, the OSCE Academy hosted a Youth Conference, dedicated to Human Rights Day and the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The event, supported by the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek in collaboration with the Academy, was opened by Dr. Indira Satarkulova, Acting Director of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek.

On 07 December 2023, Pengshan Pan, an Associate Research Fellow at the OSCE Academy and a doctoral candidate at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, delivered a public lecture on 'Irrigation and Insurgency: Can Public Infrastructure Mitigate Climate-Induced Conflict in Afghanistan?'

On 7 December 2023, Marine Constant, Human Rights Advisor and Capacity Building Coordinator, together with Christina Kelly, Assistant Project Officer, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), conducted a Starlight Stadium Playtest for students of the MA Programme in Human Rights and Sustainability and MA Programme in Politics and Security at the OSCE Academy.
