Director of CAREC Institute Visits the OSCE Academy to Boost Collaboration

On 24 October 2024, Mr. Kabir Jurazoda, Director of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Institute, and Ms. Aidana Bedibekova, CAREC Regional Officer in Kyrgyzstan, visited the OSCE Academy. Dr. Indira Satarkulova, Deputy Director of the OSCE Academy, Dr. Bedelbai Mamadiev, Head of the Research and Training Department, and Ms. Victoria Orazova, Head of the International Department, hosted honored guests and discussed cooperation for the coming year and beyond. Special attention was given to the capacity building trainings, research activities as well as dialogue events. The Kyrgyz Republic will be Chairing CAREC Institute in 2025, and the OSCE Academy will be one of the main local partners of CAREC, supporting the implementation of a number of planned activities. As the first step the Parties agreed to develop the Action plan for 2025.

The OSCE Academy and CAREC Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 25 July 2024.
