OSCE Academy Faculty and Staff Members participate in Erasmus+ Mobilities

In June 2022, the OSCE Academy's faculty and staff members participated in Erasmus+ Staff Mobilities and visited several European universities.

From 6-10 June 2022, Cholpon Osmonalieva, Head of Department of Graduate Education, took part in the International Staff Week at Kozminsky University, Poland. During the week, Ms. Osmonalieva had an opportunity to meet colleagues from various universities in Europe and Asia, and attend workshops on Multicultural Aspects of Internationalization Development, Effective communication among generations, Mobility of Students and Staff, and other events organized by experts and staff of the Kozminsky University.

From 12 to 18 June 2022, Dr. Elena Zhirukhina attended the Sixth Annual Tartu Conference on Russian and East European Studies and taught the workshop on Human Trafficking in Central Asia and Eastern Europe to MA students at the University of Tartu, Estonia.

From 12-18 June 2022, Dr. Bedelbai Mamadiev, Lecturer at the OSCE Academy, and five staff members: Nazira Abakirova and Jazgul Bolot kyzy from the department of Graduate Education, Alina Alymkulova from the HR Department, Azhar Kaltarbekova from the International Office, and Kanykei Temirbekova from Research and Training Unit, visited the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) in Romania. The OSCE Academy team met with the Director of the International Relations and European Integration programme Dr. Ioana Roxana Melenciuc Ioan, Erasmus+ Coordinator of the International Relations and European Integration programme Dr. Ana-Maria Costea, Instituțional Erasmus+ Coordinator of SNSPA Dr. Crina Rădulescu, and other colleagues. Parties discussed the cooperation opportunities in the fields of adopting new teaching methodologies, joint research and publication, faculty and students' exchange, short-term programmes, seminars and round tables. Also, there was a fruitful exchange of experience and best practices in attracting talented faculty members, the student admission process, working with alumni, and with international partners and projects.
