Students Learn Tips about the Business Plan from an Accounting and Finance Expert

On 20 May 2022, Ms. Ziming Rao, Adjunct Professor at Webster University in Tashkent and an expert in accounting and finance, visited the OSCE Academy and delivered a guest lecture to students of the MA in Economic Governance and Development Programme. During the lecture, titled “The Nuts and Bolts of Business Plan: a USAID Project to assist SMEs in Issyk-kul Region,” Ms. Rao explained why the business plan is important and what the structure and content of a good business plan should look like. Ms. Rao also shared her experience volunteering for the USAID projects, providing accounting and finance services to SMEs, helping them to build accounting systems and prepare business plans. Her latest assignment was in Issyk-kul region.
