Seminar on Education and Accreditation by the Ministry of Education

On 10-11 March, the Acting Director of the OSCE Academy, Ms Indira Satarkulova participated in the seminar "Organization and Development of Quality Management System in Education and Accreditation: The Experience of Norway and Kyrgyzstan" organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the project "Development of the Academic Plan of the Master’s Programmes and Research in the Areas of Economics and Agribusiness." The seminar was also attended by more than two hundred representatives of universities, accreditation agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic, the administration of the Norwegian University of Natural Sciences (NMBU), the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NOKUT) and other leading European and Kazakhstani experts in the field of university accreditation.

The seminar was opened by a speech of the Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Kudayberdi Kozhobekov on the "Quality Assurance System of Professional Education". Further, the speakers covered such topics as the quality of education, the problems of accreditation and the implementation of the Bologna system in different countries.
