For five days, 24 participants from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the IDBN training held at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. The diverse group of participants consisted of government employees, pedagogues, as well as NGO members.

Trainer Ms. Rita Naseniece from Latvia, a well experienced specialist in the field of communication, media and network building, introduced the participants to the following modules: theory of communication, internal and external communication and further to high risk and crisis communication. By undergoing simulation exercises, participants were also introduced to ways of implementing theory in practice.
