Inauguration Ceremony of the Master Students 2007/2008
3 September 2007, the Inauguration Ceremony dedicated to 23 Master Students of the 2007/2008 academic year took place today. Students were selected among 600 applicants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Classes started with lectures on international relations and political theory delivered by Dr. Rick Fawn, University of St. Andrews, Scotland and Dr. Maksim Ryabkov, Central European University, Budapest.

The OSCE Academy Master Program in Political Science (Central Asia) is one of the few graduate schools in political science in Central Asia. The 14-months program is open for up to 25-30 students from Central Asia and a limited number of students from out of the region. This program is designed for junior experts who have already successfully obtained an academic degree or higher educational degree at an accredited higher education institution. The aim of the program is give an opportunity to study political science and international relations in depth and to strengthen analytical and critical capabilities.
