The Final workshop on Media and Governance Training courses took place form 1 to 5 June 2007. The Journalism School on Media and Governance was held throughout September 2006 and June 2007 in cooperation with the Swiss based Media4Democracy. The training focuses on the role and function of the media in transitional societies and their interaction with the government. This journalism school consists of four separate modules, 3 of them concluded in September and December 2006 as well as in March 2007. In addition to the training modules at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek the journalism school has a distant learning component throughout the entire year. 13 finalists were awarded with the Certificates of Completion.
