The OSCE/ODIHR training for election short-term observers took place from 14 till 16 June 2007 at the OSCE Academy.

 

36 participants from countries of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, as well as from Caucausus and Central Asia took part.

 

Intensive three-day training introduced participants to OSCE structure, institutions and commitments, to ODIHR election observation methodology, code of conduct, reporting and mission management.  Training was largely interactive, with case studies, role plays and presentation delivered by ODIHR officials and external trainers.
