| NewsCentral Asian Summer Program for JournalistsMay 13, 2010 The Central Asian Summer Program for Journalists is realized by Deutsche Welle Akademie, OSCE Academy in Bishkek (with support of the government of Finland) and Media4Democracy (Geneva).The presentation of the program will take place on December, 11th. This 12-week Certificate Program aims to give professional journalists the tools and knowledge to produce in-depth reports for print, radio and online media that make news relevant to their Central Asian audience. The project's regional approach will foster the creation of a network of journalists from all Central Asian countries, who will be able to exchange information and even news programs in the future. Journalists will discover new sources of information and new audiences. The working language of the Program will be Russian. Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend to cover living expenses and internship in Germany or Russia later in the year. Presentation will take place in the guest house «Park Hotel» (Orozbekova str., 87 - Frunze str.) Beginning at 9:30.
