On April 25, 2007 a Seminar on the principles of democracy was organized by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) and the OSCE Academy. Mr. Gary Streeter, Member of Parliament for the Conservative Party in the UK, Mr. Andy Reed, Member of Parliament for the Labour Party and Mr. Daniel Stevens, Head of Research and Consultancy, WFD conducted a roundtable discussion with the students about the democracy building in Central Asia. More than 40 students from various Kyrgyz universities as well as the students from the MA program took part in the workshop.
