| NewsPresident of the Kyrgyz Republic visited the OSCE Academy in Bishkek.April 15, 2011 On April 15, 2011 President Otunbaeva paid an official visit to the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. The purpose of this event was the introduction to activities of the OSCE Academy and meeting with the students and alumni. In the course of the visit H.E. President made a short presentation and described a political situation in Kyrgyzstan which touched upon security, economics and parliamentary issues. After that Question and Answer session allowed the OSCE Academy students, Alumni and fellows discuss relevant political topics such as labour migration, Osh events investigation, counterterrorism measures, international and regional relations, and joining the Customs Union. President Otunbaeva expressed appreciation to the full-scale support that OSCE provides to Kyrgyzstan in implementation of governmental reforms in education, legislative, security and cooperation fields.
