27 March – 7 April 2006. Second Training Courses on Human Rights in the Administration of Justice were conducted for new participants by the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Lund (Sweden). Training courses were funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).

 

Training courses had same program content as ones organized in November 2005. Officials from regional Ministries of Justice, Ministries of Interior Affairs, and Public Prosecutor’s Office, as well as representatives of the police authorities, judges, academics and NGO representatives took part in the training. Participants made great contribution into the training program and had a chance to interact and share their views on existent problems concerning human rights with their colleagues from region. Within the framework of the program participants have visited the OSCE Centre in Bishkek and Kyrgyz Ombudsman Office.
