24-25 September 2005, Training Seminar for Reporters and Media Editors on Production of Objective, Balanced and Unbiased Information was held at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek by UNESCO Cluster Office for Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and Public Foundation “Inform-Kultura” with support from Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Kyrgyzstan

The seminar explored such themes as “Methods of using different Internet services for obtaining and evaluating information”, “Work with the information source: methods, organization, psychology” and “Event, fact and judgment in journalistic investigation”. Lectures were delivered by KRSU and AUCA professors, lawyers and political scientists. Presentation of the Internet resource http://mmtk.unesco.kz for media professionals was also held.
