On the occasion of the beginning of Master Program 'Political Science (Central Asia)' 2005/2006 an Opening Ceremony was held on September 2, 2005. This year 27 students from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Germany students are enrolled in the OSCE Academy’s Master Program.

During the Opening Ceremony students presented the cultural attributes of their country by reading poetry, national dances, songs and short sketches. Among the invited guests were representatives of the donor community, embassies, international organizations, international and local NGOs and media representatives.

The program will last for one academic year and will finish in late June. Upon successful completion of all Master requirements like thesis, colloquia and internship, students will receive Master Diploma in "Political Science (Central Asia)".
